November is for Parties!!

Hey Fellas!!  What is a fantastic way to spend a fall evening?

How about hanging out with 20 other guys and playing capture the flag? 

Yeah that sounds like a great time doesn't it??

But how about playing with 3 teams, all at the same time?

Yeah that sounds even better!!!

But how about in the dark?

Yeah!!  Now that's what i'm talkin about!!!!

Last Friday Boys Will Be Boys had the best game of capture the flag ever!!! 

If you were not here, you missed out!

In between rounds we watched clips from Avengers and talked about Philippians 1:27-30 - we learned about having courage and being united if we want to succeed in this world with God!

We committed that we would be young men who fought for unity and included those sometimes left out!

Who Are We?

Hey fellas!  We had our very first time together Friday night and what can i say, anyone not there totally missed out!!

It was a blast playing 3 team capture the flag...in the dark...with hair painted to match our teammates!

We had great music, tons of food and without question the noisiest party in town!

We also spent some time talking about BWBB:

                Who do we want to be?  If people talk about the guys from BWBB, what do we want them
                    to say?

We came to some decisions:

We want to be known as God's men - standing for His ways and His principles.  We will avoid things and people that pull us away from God.

We want to be compassionate, courageous, and  strong.  No woosing out - we are guys and proud of it!  But we don't have to prove it by being unkind.

We want to stand up for those who are weak, not excluding anyone.

We want to use words and actions that are encouraging and uplifting, no putting other people down, or holding them down.  In fact we will look for chances to lift others up.

Get Ready! BWBB is coming!

Get ready fellas!! 

BWBB will be arriving on the scene from 8-10PM on September 14th, after the Lafayette Christian School Soccer game!  We will be hanging out at Nate Hendrick's house (617 Wexford Dr, Lafayette) and having a fantastic time! 

We are all about giving middle school guys a chance to hang out and have a great time, while at the same time learning about how to live a life for God in this world!

All guys are welcome - only requirement is to be 6th-8th grades!

No need to bring anything - just plan to be crazy and have fun!

Please dress weather appropriate to be outside at least part of the time and dont wear nice clothes, you will likely get dirty!
